Three Themes is a suite for jazz orchestra and vocalist by Brisbane composer/saxophonist Andrew Garton. Three Themes takes three simple tunes and expands and transforms them to create an extended six-part 40 minute long work. This composition was originally commissioned by the Enthusiastic Musicians Orchestra in 2009 and was recorded on their first publicly released album. Three Themes will be performed by EMO (Enthusiastic Musician’s Orchestra) with vocalist Charlotte McLean.
