Brisbane International Jazz Festival opens with award winning Queensland jazz composers Rafael Karlen, Andrew Butt, Louise Denson and Sean Foran presenting World Premieres commissioned exclusively by Jazz Queensland, proudly supported by the Queensland Government as part of Queensland Week. Four bands plus UK guest Julian Arguelles, one of Europe's most inventive saxophonists paired with the emotive and textural sounds of the piano trio TRICHOTOMY explore and create exciting new work.
